Casino Payment Gateway Integration

Jul 27, 2026 · 11 min read

You can have the best casino API and 12,000 games — none of it matters if players can't deposit. Payments are where most new operators lose 40-60% of potential revenue. Here's how to fix it region by region in 2026.

LATAM

  • Brazil: PIX is mandatory (95% of deposits). Boleto for older players. Use Pagsmile, EBANX, or AstroPay.
  • Mexico: OXXO cash vouchers + SPEI transfers. AstroPay, Pagsmile.
  • Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia: Local bank transfers, AstroPay Card, MercadoPago (limited iGaming appetite).

Africa

  • Nigeria: Paystack, Flutterwave, direct USSD bank transfer.
  • Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda: M-Pesa is king — integrate via Safaricom Daraja API or Flutterwave.
  • South Africa: EFT via Ozow, PayFast, or SnapScan.

Asia

  • Bangladesh: bKash, Nagad, Rocket. Use local agent-based PSPs.
  • India: UPI (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm) — but iGaming is regulatorily grey; many PSPs decline. Use crypto rails.
  • Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand: Local bank transfer + QR (GoPay, DANA, MoMo, PromptPay).
  • Pakistan: JazzCash, EasyPaisa — often via agent network due to bank restrictions.

Crypto — the universal fallback

When cards decline and PSPs won't touch iGaming, crypto works everywhere. In 2026 we recommend:

  • USDT (TRC-20) — cheapest fees, 3-second finality, dominant in Asia
  • USDT (BEP-20) — cheap, works with Binance withdrawal
  • BTC, ETH, LTC — established rails for high-value players
  • Self-hosted node OR NOWPayments / CoinsPaid for zero-KYC processing

High-risk PSPs that accept iGaming

For fiat card processing (MCC 7995), realistic 2026 options are: Praxis Cashier, PayRetailers, AstroPay, Paysafe, Nuvei, Corefy. Expect 5-8% MDR + rolling reserve of 5-10% for 6 months.

Architecture recommendation

Don't hard-code a single PSP. Build a cashier abstraction layer where each region routes to the best available method, with automatic fallback (e.g. UPI → USDT if UPI declines). This is standard in every serious 2026 casino stack — and it's what our reference cashier ships with.
